This therapy doll for seniors supports nurturing engagement in dementia care
Little Miss Muffet is a soft, poseable baby girl doll suited to one-to-one activity sessions with people living with dementia. Holding and cradling her can encourage calm, purposeful occupation and, in many cases, open up conversation that might not happen otherwise. She’s lightweight enough for frail residents to hold comfortably for extended periods.
Construction and materials
She’s made with a gentle-touch soft silicone vinyl head and three-quarter limbs, with a cuddly cloth body filled with polyester fibre. Her hair is embedded washable mohair. She can be posed, and her weight is intentionally light rather than realistic for size.
