A colourful square fiddle cushion that provides both sensory experiences and activity engagement opportunities for the fidgety client with dementia.
Objects to manipulate may include sliding belt buckles, beads on a cord, clothes pegs, velcroed or buttoned flaps with pictures, wool/lace or mini textured maze underneath, zippers to open and others. All items are securely fastened either by strong crochet cotton (e.g for buttons) or machine stitching.
Handmade cushion cover is removable and may be washed in washing machine (not industrial) by placing inside a pillowcase or lingerie bag and washed on a delicate setting.
