Our Memorabilia Pack Household 1950’s is a carefully curated collection of high-quality reproduced paper memorabilia relating to growing up in fifties Britain, that really recreates the everyday 1950’s experience in Britain. Designed to bring history to life, a great intergenerational activity that also supporting reminiscence, memory recall and meaningful engagement for older adults, including people living with dementia.

How to run the activity:
Lay out a few items
Place 3–5 pieces from the pack on the table (e.g. newspaper, invitation, street party items). Avoid using everything at once.
Invite gentle observation
Encourage participants to look, touch, and handle the items at their own pace. There’s no right or wrong response.
